service learning

“Learn to Serve God, Nation and People.” — At GIU, service is not an occasional activity. It is part of who we are.

Service learning is woven throughout our curriculum from Kindergarten through A-Level. Students don't just learn about social issues — they take meaningful action to address them. Rooted in our Christian values, GIU students and staff put faith into action through community outreach that makes a real difference.

We nurture young people who understand that their education carries a responsibility: to use what they learn to uplift others and contribute meaningfully to society.

Community Renewal — Sota

GIU students and staff joined the effort to repaint and clean the Community KG Block at Sota in the Greater Accra Region, creating a brighter learning environment for young children.

Hope After the Floods — Volta Region

Following flooding in the Volta Region, GIU contributed food, water and educational supplies, and students provided tutoring support to children whose education was disrupted.

Technology for Inclusive Learning — Akropong

GIU donated technological teaching and learning aids to the School for the Blind at Akropong in the Eastern Region, supporting more inclusive and accessible education.

Faith in Action

Our Christian faith shapes the way we care for and serve one another. Students live out values of love, kindness, integrity, compassion, respect and service every day.
